United States Capitol (1) The Capitol Building and Reflection Pool
I am sure you have seen this imagine of the capitol building hundreds and thousands of times!
It was photographed in many movies and its image was used as the background in many local TV broad casting stations!
It is the office of the most powerful politicians of the world. The building's heights has defined the heights of all the buildings in the DC. No building should be higher than this one! You should have figured that one out when you did not see any high-rise buildings in Washington, DC!

Winter Wonderland
I am sure everyone remembered how much snow we got in 2014 in DC area.
