Happy Spring! -From Virginia Bluebell at Riverbend Park

I've always wanted to see the Bluebell in the spring but have always missed it till this spring.  I finally made it to Riverbend Park where bluebell has made it home for many years.   I saw them there, so many of them along the trail that is off the Potomac River.  They like it there! It almost made me cry.  I've never seen so many blue colored wildflowers in one place!

Ladew Topiary Gardens

Ladew Topiary Gardens are nonprofit gardens with topiary located in Monkton, Maryland. Just 30 miles north of Washington, DC. This was the first topiary gardens I've visited. A friend of mine knows I love gardens and invited me to go.

These photos were taken in October. The fall foliage were not quite there yet, the summer flowers were gone but the fall flowers were are its peak. The animals were made of ever green trees so they will always be there. It was a pleasant fall day, also quiet. We enjoyed the garden very much. After seeing those photos, I hope you will too!
