Outside my Window _ Cardinal
The Cardinal is a colorful songbird that is native to North America, and is well-known for its bright red plumage and distinctive crest on its head. The male Cardinal is a brilliant red color, with a black mask around its eyes and a thick, conical orange bill. The female Cardinal has a more subdued brownish-red coloring, with a red crest and a dark bill.
The Cardinal is a beloved and iconic bird that is a symbol of hope and good fortune in many cultures. Its striking appearance and beautiful song make it a favorite among birdwatchers and backyard bird enthusiasts alike.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to capture some images of them when they visited my neighborhood.
