Trip to Finger Lake - (4) on Gorge Trail - Watkins Glen State Park

I consider this is one of most unique park among all the parks that I have ever hiked.  Watkins Glen State Park is voted #3 of the New York State Parks by public (voted no 3 by USA today pull), with a reputation for leaving visitors spellbound. Within two miles, the glen's stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade. Rim trails overlook the gorge.  According to the bus driver (who took us back to where we started after have reached the end of the trail), the park consists of 830 steps, over 70 stores in height.  That day, the outside temperature was near 90 F but the trail is mostly under shade with cool breeze, so pleasant for hiking.  Presented here are some of the photos taken while throughout the gorge trail.
