Some photos from the visity of the city: my impression is the traffic in the city is as bad as in LA and the density of the people can be measured by how many high rise buildings seen through out the city. Each time I visit, the city has changed quite bit (in 3 years)

Park of Kunming- Green Lake Park 翠湖公园

Green Lake Park (simplified Chinese: 翠湖公园), is an urban park in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. It was established in the 17th century on the west side of the Wuhua Mountain and is sometimes described as a "Jade in Kunming". It is a short walk from Yunnan University. The serenity and beauty make it an excellent place for a picnic, a morning stroll, or a simple a time to sit and reflect. Along the bank of the lake, you can see groups of retirees gathered to play music and dance.
