South America- Valparaiso, Chile
Little over 1 hour drive from Santiago, Valparaíso is a port
city on Chile’s coast. It's known for
its steep funiculars and colorful, clifftop homes. In January, while it is winter in Washington
DC, it is summer time in Valparaiso. The locals and tourists can be seen at the
beaches and resorts along the beautiful coastal line enjoying themselves. Local language is Spanish. But when you got lost, you can find some young
people there who speak good English to give you directions. While you were then, don't forget to test the local food and Chilean Wine. They are very special.
