Casa Loma (2)

That day, there was a wedding going on, I've never seen so many beautiful African clothes. Few photos of the rooms. Then there is one floor that devoted to The Queen's Own Riles of Canada.

Casa Loma

Casa Loma was constructed from 1911 to 1914 and established as museum in 1937. It once was the home of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, a Canadian soldier and financier, who gained immense wealth from founding the Toronto Electric Light Company in 1883. Now it is owned by the city of Toronto and has become a museum and tourist attraction for visitors to Toronto. Pellatt spent $17 million (modern-day $412 million) to build this castle and went bankrupt. Casa Loma has been used as filming location for many movies and television such as X-Men, Strange Brew, Chicago, The Tuxedo, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Warehouse 13, Twitches Too, and The Pacifier. It is also a popular venue for wedding ceremonies.
