Long Neck Village is a tourist stop in Mae Salong near Chiang Mai still inhabited by hill people, namely the Akha, Long Neck and Salong tribes. That place we visited was set up for tourist to see the girls at different ages with a metal coil around their neck while they were manning a gift shop or gave display on how the scarf were made.
Travel with me, let me take you to see, enjoy, explore and appreciate the beauty presented to you in my photos of nature, man made or other kind, in my back yard, near and far and around the world!

A breif visit to Laos
From border town of Mae Sai, at the tip of Thailand, a short cruise took us along the banks of the Mekong to the small island of Don Sao in Laos. We got to spend some leisure time at the lively markets before returning to Thailand.

A brief visit to Myanmar
There were no problem crossing the border from Thailand to Myanmar if you pay a certain amount of fee. The locals will take you on a “Tuk Tuk” car to travel around the town: visit a temple watching where you watch local woman chatting with a little book in their hand; visiting a local family, a young girl with her baby; The local flower and food market. We got to see how people in Myanmar lives. All the girls put some white sunblock material put on their face to block the sun damage. You were required to put on a long skirt when walk around the temple.
