Trip to Midwest-(4) Pittsburgh river front

I am very impressed with how wide the riverfront walk is.  How open and inviting it is. What a great place for people to walk, run, sit around or standing still to think and to see the beautiful river, bridges, to have lunch. To take a break from everything else they are doing.  Oh, also get to hang out with Mr. Rogers!

How many ways can I count I love you? I love the way you look from the top of Mt. Washington; I love the way you look from the top of Duquesne Incline. I love the way you look from the riverfront...

Since the first time I saw you some 10 years ago, I have never forgotten how beautiful you looked.  I am so happy to see you again after all these years!

 

   

Trip to the Midwest- (1) Pennsylvania Country Side

Along interstate I-70, Pennsylvania countryside is very beautiful. Farms with dense trees, cows laying around, and land are colored by wildflowers.

Upper State New York-(5) Skaneateles Lake

With Beautiful weather and a beautiful lake.  This small town around the lake is a complete tourist town with chic stores, restaurants to boot.

Upper State New York-(4)-Country Side near Manulius

During the summertime, wildflowers were seen around all the roads, blooming happily and abundant.  They are everywhere.

The roads are well maintained due to high tax dollars and low populations.

I did not see any plants nor major industry throughout my visit there nor near nearby major city Syracuse but acres and acres of farmland.  It is hard to find a good stop to stop taking photos, but I managed to have some to share with you.  Enjoy!

Upper State New York-(3) Green Lake State Park

How green are the trees and how blue is the sky and the water.  You count the shades and I will always agree.

Upper State New York (2)-Ithaca-Cayuga Waterfront Trail-Cass Park

 A beautiful place for walking, rowing, reading, having a picnic and or just relaxing doing nothing. Maybe because it was still under the shadow of the pandemic and the university was not fully packed with students.  There were only rowing activities in the lake, so, all things considered, I spent some very quiet moments there on two different days.  Here are the photos taken from there.   A must visit place when in Ithaca.

Upper State New York-(1) Ithaca-Buttermilk Falls State Park

This is my second time visiting Ithaca. The city is famous for its university and many state parks with waterfalls.  It is also just next to finger lakes. During the pandemic, the town was very quiet but still people came out and enjoy the parks.  Here are some photos taken from Buttermilk Falls state park.

I lost another pair of sunglasses while taking photos. The sunglasses dropped into the waterfall and stuck to some tree branches right in front of me, but I could not dare to crab it! Oh well...
