Copenhagen, Denmark -(10) Art Fair and More

Copenhagen is a compact city that is easily navigable by foot. After shopping at Stroget, we strolled back to Nyhavn to explore an art fair that was taking place there.

While we're on the topic of art, there was one sculpture outside the Museum of Danish Resistance that caught my attention. It features several figures, and I couldn't quite tell if they were all women or if there was a man in the middle. I was also unsure of what they were supposed to be doing. I've included a photo of the sculpture here, perhaps you can help me figure it out.

Copenhagen, Denmark -(9) Strøget

Strøget is a bustling shopping street located in the heart of Copenhagen, offering a variety of activities to enjoy. Walking along the street provides the perfect opportunity to people-watch, window-shop, and indulge in some delicious street food. A must-try is the hot dog, which is renowned for its delicious taste and surpasses those typically found in the States.

During our visit, we stopped at two popular stores: Royal Copenhagen and Danish Design. Royal Copenhagen is an excellent place for window-shopping and admiring Danish art, with its museum-like decor providing a visual feast for the eyes. On the other hand, Danish Design is a great store to purchase souvenirs and take home a piece of Danish design with you.

Copenhagen, Denmark -(8) The Round Tower

The Round Tower is located within walking distance of King's Garden and is considered one of Denmark's most iconic buildings. Originally built as a platform for the university observatory, for centuries it served as the center of Danish astronomy. To reach the top of the tower, visitors must walk up the spiral ramp. It's recommended to take the ascent slowly to avoid dizziness. Once at the top, visitors are rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree view of Copenhagen's landmarks and buildings.

The Round Tower is also connected to a church, which provides an additional cultural and historical experience. Here are some photos taken during my visit:
