When I visited the same place at sunrise, it looked completely different compared to the sunset hour. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, tranquil, and almost deserted. As an early riser, I walked/jogged there to see the sun rise and enjoyed the short, serene moment.
Travel with me, let me take you to see, enjoy, explore and appreciate the beauty presented to you in my photos of nature, man made or other kind, in my back yard, near and far and around the world!

Stockholm, Sweden - (1) Stockholm at Sunset
Watching and counting the shades of the colors in the sky and on the water; watching people seating in the restaurants and boats along the water, eating, drinking and laughing ...I immediately fell in love with this city and felt at home.
Stockholm, Sweden
As the capital and largest city of Sweden, Stockholm is located on the eastern coast of the country, built across 14 islands and connected by over 50 bridges. It is known for its beautiful architecture, picturesque waterways, and vibrant cultural scene. The city is home to many historical landmarks, including the Royal Palace, Stockholm City Hall, and the Nobel Museum, as well as a variety of museums, art galleries, and theaters. Stockholm is also renowned for its progressive social policies, modern design, and sustainable living practices. With a population of approximately 1.5 million people in the metropolitan area, Stockholm is one of the most populous cities in Scandinavia and a major hub for business, technology, and innovation.
I fell in love with Stockholm from the moment I arrived. The city's stunning landscapes and architecture seamlessly intertwined with the water left me in awe. The people were welcoming and diverse, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rich history and culture of the city were palpable, and despite being in a foreign country, I felt at ease everywhere I went since everyone spoke English.

Train ride from Copenhagen to Stockholm
The train ride from Copenhagen to Stockholm takes approximately 5-6 hours and is known for its beautiful scenery along the way. The route takes you through the Swedish countryside, passing by lakes, forests, and small towns. The train itself is comfortable and equipped with modern amenities, such as Wi-Fi and electrical outlets. Some trains also offer food and beverage service. Overall, it is a convenient and scenic way to travel between these two cities.
Here are some photos taken while on this train ride. Not much going on nor anything interesting when getting out of Copenhagen. It was raining on and off. Later on, when it stopped rain, it got more interesting as we were approaching Stockholm.

Copenhagen, Denmark -(10) Art Fair and More
Copenhagen is a compact city that is easily navigable by foot. After shopping at Stroget, we strolled back to Nyhavn to explore an art fair that was taking place there.
While we're on the topic of art, there was one sculpture outside the Museum of Danish Resistance that caught my attention. It features several figures, and I couldn't quite tell if they were all women or if there was a man in the middle. I was also unsure of what they were supposed to be doing. I've included a photo of the sculpture here, perhaps you can help me figure it out.
