A brief stroll from Plaza Mayor to the intersection with Nicolas de Pierola avenue leads to Plaza San Martin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. The plaza features a monument dedicated to Jose de San Martin, the liberator of Peru.

Trip to Peru- (7) Lima Plaza de Armas
The Plaza Mayor de Lima, also known as the Plaza de Armas de Lima, is located in the heart of the city center. This square is surrounded by notable buildings, such as the Government Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the Municipal Palace, and the Palacio de la Union. The plaza is a popular spot for taking photos, with its unique architecture, vibrant colors, and beautiful flower beds.

As we continued walking along the coastal strip, past Larcomar, you'll come across a beautiful site featuring a giant sculpture of two lovers embracing each other while overlooking the ocean. The area is also adorned with stunning flower beds, adding to the romantic atmosphere of the place.

Larcomar is a popular shopping center and dining destination located in the Miraflores district, adjacent to Barranco. Situated on the cliffs of Costa Verde, it offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and is a great place to unwind and grab a bite to eat after a long walk.
