Jim Thorpe, the Switzerland of USA (continued)
While the most visited part of Jim Thorpe is to the east of the Lehigh River (the old Mauch Chunk). The part of the town that is to the west side of the Lehigh River is relatively quiet, but it is still very beautiful and charming. Here are the photos taken along the Lehigh River and the west side of the Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk).

A trip to Jim Thorpe wouldn't be complete without taking a scenic train ride into the mountains and village, especially during the fall season when you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the foliage.
