Jaipur, India- Amber Fort

Built in 1592 as the main residence of the Rajput Maharajas, Amber fort was declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site.  It stands on top of an mountain and situated right next to Maota Lake.  The fort presents a blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture.  It is built using red sandstone and white marble.

Jaipur, India-Hawa Mahal

Hawa Mahal was called Palace of Winds , also known as "Palace of Breeze".  It was built in 1799 from red and pink sandstone as an extension to the Royal City Palace of Jaipur.  It allows the royal ladies who at the time strictly observed "pardah", to be able to watch and processions and activities on the street without being seen by the public.
