South America - Cemetery of Punta Arenas, Chile
I’ve never seen cemetery like this one. It is the city built as miniatures for people to live. Not for when they were alive but for when they were dead. The cemetery has been ranked by CNN as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world. It was designated a National Monument of Chile in 2012.
This cemetery housed some relevant figures in the history of Punta Arenas. Each one of them has its unique designed architectures, some with their own gardens.
