Shoes were permanently fixed on the Danube Bank. It is a memorial to these Holocaust atrocities
that sits in front of the magnificent Parliament building on the edge of the
river. What visitors will see are 60 pairs of rusted pair of shoes cast out of
iron. Different sizes and styles reflect how nobody was spared from the
brutality of the Arrow Cross militia (the shoes were from children, women,
businessmen, sportsmen ...)

Located on the bank of the Danube, with its unique architectures
and colors, Hungarian Parliament Building stood out from everywhere you go. Here are couple of images of taken from walking
on the Elizabeth bridge that cross Danube river, from Fisherman’s Bastion that
set high and across it on the other side of the river, from the Danube river
cruise and a walk pass it at night.

Senic Drive from Krakow to Budapest (4)
In a small village of Orawka, there is St. John Baptist Church, the oldest existing wooden church in the upper Orava region of Poland. We were told it was built in 1651-1656 from top quality knot-free larch timber using the horizontal log technique. The church set on a hill top with scenic view of valleys and mountains far away and a charming little cemetery in the back yard.
