The Bund (外滩) is a prominent waterfront district in the heart of Shanghai. This area is centered around a segment of Zhongshan Road (East-1 Zhongshan Road) situated within the historic Shanghai International Settlement. It stretches along the western bank of the Huangpu River, offering stunning views of Pudong, located in the eastern part of the Huangpu District. The term "The Bund" typically encompasses the buildings and wharves along this specific stretch of the road, along with some neighboring areas.
