The best of Switzerland- Geneva- United Nation

Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations) Originally built to house the leagus of Nations, the Place of Nations was built between 1929 and 1936 to serve as the headquarters of the League of Nations. It has served as the home of the United Nations Office at Geneva sine 1946 when the Secretary General of the UN singed a Headquarters agreement with the Swiss authorities, although Switzerland did not become a member of the UN untill 2002. We arrived the place little after 4pm when it was closed to the public. I only have few photos of the flags outside the gate.
