River Street, Savannah, Georgia

At the edge of historical district, a street right at the water front where you can see Talmadge Memorial bridge on Savannah River at your left and the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort building from the across the water at your right.
There were also some noticeable land marks on the street:  The World War II monument,  also known as “The Cracked Earth” monument. The two halves of the globe are split, representing the conflict of a world divided; The anchor monument; The Propeller Club Memorial, Savannah, GA; The African American Monument , all of which provide you with huge amounts of history up and down Savannah’s beautiful cobblestone riverfront.
Sometimes you also see Georgia Queen, a riverboat cruising on the river or ducked right in front of the street.  There were restaurants, boutiques stores, canndy stores (local treats!) and souvenir stores at one side of the street, with spacious walking space and beaches for you to rest, a truly romantic place for you to enjoy.
