Audubon Swamp Garden
-A secret garden for birds, turtles and crocodiles…
That day without prior knowledge, I did not know such garden existed and it was part of Magnolia Plantations & Gardens. It was a beautiful sunny day, as we arrived, it was just time to watch the mother bird fetch sticks for the construction of the nest, father bird feeding the little ones. The trees in the middle of the pond were occupied by Blue Herons, Tri-Colored Heron, Great Egret and Snowy Egret. It was a heavenly place for these birds! I did not have telephotes lenses with me. Photos were not great of close-ups of those birds.
