Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio, Brazil

It's name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugarloaf.  It is known worldwide for its cable way and panoramic views of the city, Sugarloaf Mountain is another must visit when you are in Rio.  It’s hill top provides you panoramic view of Rio from different angles than what provided by Crist the Redeemer plate on Corcovado mountain.    To reach the summit of this mountain, you will take cable car.  It first takes you to a platform in between the ground level and Sugarloaf Mountain,  then from there,  the car transfers you to another cable car to reach the summit.  Here are the photos taken from that journey at two different levels overlooking the city of Rio.
