In pursuit of my passion for photographing Washington DC's landmarks and architectures, my friend Jing and I embarked on a walking journey today. Starting from a metro ride to the Metro Center station, exit at the 13th and G street exit. Taking a left turn, we passed by the Warner Theatre and reached the first historical landmark, Freedom Plaza.
We then explored Pershing Park, home to the World War I Memorial, with the stunning backdrop of the JW Marriott Washington Hotel and InterContinental the Willard Washington Hotel.
Our next stop was a brief 5-minute walk to the transformed old post office, now the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, previously known as the Trump International Hotel Washington DC.
Following this, we indulged in a delightful lunch at the Hamilton restaurant.
Continuing our walk, we passed St. Patrick's Catholic Church before arrived at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (DC public library), situated at the corner of G Street and 9th St. NW."
