Australia- 9) A Stroll to Eden's Lookout Point

Eden is a coastal town located in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Situated on the shores of Twofold Bay, it is one of the most southerly towns in the state, close to the border with Victoria.  The area around Eden has been traditionally inhabited by the Thaua people of the Yuin nation. European settlement began in the early 19th century, with the town established in 1843.

Upon arriving in Eden, I took a walk to the lookout point, eager to immerse myself in the natural beauty of the area. The journey began at the small port, where a collection of beautiful boats bobbed gently on the clear blue waters of Twofold Bay.

As I continued my walk, I was struck by the unique shapes of the trees along the trail. These trees, with their twisted branches and vibrant foliage, seemed to tell stories of the winds and weather they had withstood over the years.

The trail led me closer to the cliffs, where the blue waters of the bay stretched out before me, meeting the sky at the horizon. The cliffs themselves were a marvel, their rugged surfaces contrasting beautifully with the smooth, shimmering sea below. Standing at the lookout point, I felt a profound sense of peace and awe, as if I were on the edge of the world, looking out over an endless expanse of natural beauty.

Australia-8) Burnie Park

Burnie Park is a beautiful and expansive public park located in Burnie, Tasmania. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, offering a variety of attractions and amenities.

Burnie Park is within walking distance from the beachfront. While nothing in particular stood out except the trees, the rose gardens were a highlight. They feature colorful roses with interesting names, making them a delightful attraction. The roses are such a wonderful delight, and I enjoyed them very much!

Australia-7) Burnie-Penguin Observation Center

Upon arriving in Burnie, the city's mayor personally welcomed us before we got off the bus.

One of the attractions in Burnie is the hope of seeing the penguins along the beachfront in the Burnie Little Penguin colony.

The colony is located along the foreshore in Burnie, a very short distance from the city center. On the way to the penguin observation center, we found one of the hiding places of a penguin family, where visitors lined up to see and photograph them.

The penguin observation center, however, seemed deserted, with no live penguins to be seen.

Here are some photos I captured along my walk on the beachfront, including some unusual flowers and the penguin family.

Australia- 6) Melbourne Skydeck

"Eureka Skydeck 88" in Melbourne, Australia. The Eureka Tower is one of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks, standing tall in the city skyline. At the top of this skyscraper is the Eureka Skydeck, an observation deck located on the 88th floor. From here, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Melbourne and its surroundings, stretching out to Port Phillip Bay, the Dandenong Ranges, and beyond.

The Skydeck offers a unique perspective of Melbourne's urban landscape, allowing visitors to see landmarks such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Federation Square, and the Yarra River from a bird's-eye view. There's also "The Edge," a glass cube that extends from the building, providing a thrilling experience as it moves outwards, giving you the sensation of being suspended above the city.

Beyond the breathtaking views, the Skydeck also offers interactive exhibits and information about Melbourne's history, culture, and landmarks, providing visitors with a comprehensive experience.
