Outside my Window - Morning Dove
The Mourning Dove, also known as the American Mourning Dove, is a medium-sized bird that is native to North America. It is a member of the dove family and is known for its distinctive cooing call, which is a familiar sound in many parts of the continent. The Mourning Dove is a slender bird with a long, pointed tail and a plump body. It has a brownish-gray plumage that is speckled with black spots on the wings and back, and a pale buff-colored underside. The male and female look similar, but the male can be identified by a iridescent patch on its neck.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to capture some images of them when they visited my neighborhood.
